BYOD am Casi
Seit 2013 verfolgen wir das BYOD-Konzept ("Bring your own Device"). Schülerinnen und Schüler ab Jahrgangsstufe 8 verfügen über ein eigenes digitales Endgerät und bringen dieses in die Schule mit, um es im Unterricht verwenden zu können.

German
Reading, reading, reading! Writing, writing, writing! Speaking, speaking, speaking!
Or in the words of the profile for German in the curriculum for academic secondary schools in Bavaria: “Language has always been the central medium of communication in our environment. The mastery of language, spoken and written, allows self-determination, understanding of the world, tolerance and the participation in the cultural, social and political events of the time.“
That is exactly what we, the German teachers of Casimirianum, want to achieve: That our students learn to interact confidently with the German language, in speaking and writing, as the most important basis for communicative competence, which is becoming more and more important in times of economic and social changes.
Just as important for us is the study of literature and non-fictional texts, which can help students to reflect on themselves and the world they live in and – in terms of strengthening their value judgment - to reach an enhanced awareness of social and personal problems.
We, the German teachers, aspire to prepare our students as well as possible for the transition from school to university or to vocational training, but we also want to pass on our enthusiasm for the subject and open up access to language and literature. We are trying to achieve this through both modern and well-established methods of engaging in literature and language in class, and we also offer extracurricular activities.
